Either that or I'm setting it up wrong.rnI installed MSN 4.7, and tried the following settings:rnType: SOCKS Version 4rnServer: phoenixim.ddns.netrnPort: 5190rnThese seem to be correct, but I can't sign in.rnI get the following error:rnSigning in to .NET Messenger Service failed because the service could not be found. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.rnIn case it wasn't obvious, I'm not too experienced with MSN, never used it back when it was still a thing due to being way too young.

Mine throws an error when I try to connect.rnrn"We were unabled to sign you in to .NET Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with the service or with your Internet connection. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet."rnrnVersion 4.7, as well. I was trying to record a tutorial on getting MSN to work, what's going on?

Sorry, malwarebytes blocked the connection. But it claims my password is incorrect, when it is, in fact, correct.

I'd like to chime in and say I can't get it to work for me either. I'm using MSN Messenger 4.7 as included with Windows XP SP3 and I've applied the registry hack. I get a response back saying the email or password is incorrect when it I'm 100.22227% sure I have it correct.
