They should just make real aol desktop to work aol 4.0 the real version to work with a patch to bypass the connection lost screen that brings you back to the welcome screen when you put the iwarg.ddns.net adreass in it and sing on it shows people with there hands up and goes back to the login screen with that connection lost thing

also if this is going to be liked aol desktop channels worked on aol desktop 4.0 and it says channels so who knows maybe we will see an experience again

From what I've heard, Phoenix Desktop will be a whole new from-the-ground-up AOL Desktop clone. It won't be compatible with the normal AOL Desktop protocols either, instead opting for its own YMSG/OSCAR inspired protocol (if I remember correctly).

I'm honestly looking forward to what Phoenix Desktop will have to offer. Wildman has posted quite a few screenshots over on the AIM Discord Server, so your best source for Phoenix Desktop info would be over at the AIM Discord Server.
