I have the code for that, but it requires half-ass-Kerberos authentication (i.e. SSL) like AIM 6.0+ and higher.

Well, I also have TIC (QuickBuddy) and AIM Express, and ICQ Webby, but they are all Java based so they won't run within Chrome, and further all require TOC (or TOC2). There was also a flash based client (also disabled in Chrome, not sure if you can still enable it) but I don't have that.

What's needed is something that uses websockets or long polling or something and is pure JavaScript. That's actually not difficult to do client-side, but due to how browsers are it would probably be better to have something between to cache sessions, buffer things... like Mibbit.

Chrome has a different version of Flash but Chrome's version works the same.
