So AIM has a thing called AIM Pro, which is AIM for business, and I'm pleased to announce it works with iWarg's server!
Note that to connect turn off the "Connect via secure connection" option.

I've found that after install, you have to open the program manually, then it will give an error about not being able to find an Outlook account, check the "Look for Outlook account next time I Start AIM Pro" option, then start it again, turn off the "Connect securely" option, enter your credentials, then log in.

Pro does work as long as you change the settings, I've logged on to Phoenix with it just fine.

In order to fix the Outlook errors you have to install Outlook, it isn't important though. AIM Pro is primarily for networks using AIM Enterprise Gateway which is no one anymore, you are better off using AIM 4.x if you want similar functionality.

I have Outlook on this computer though.

Outlook has changed a whole lot and whatever COM objects or users paths or whatever that Outlook 2000 SP4 had, obviously AIM Pro can't find them, which is kind of crappy, but considering Microsoft's abandonment of MSDN-promise of reverse compatibility, it's not surprising, so this isn't AOL's fault, it's Microsoft's fault.

Also yeah here's some proof AIM Pro works besides Tony's testimony, since pictures speak a thousand words.
