I used it in the 90s and early 2000s before leaving for forums, MySpace, Facebook and texting.

I was a part of a few AIM communities, but the only one I remember was 'Cerjam.net'

Been using Aim since version 1.0 and before that I used AOL for geos on my bitching 386 Baby At. Thank goodness For Win 3.1 though Geos was clunky.
