The Phoenix - how did you find it?

Im new here, so im still getting the feel for things.
I was wondering how everyone found Phoenix.

My story revised: Im was an old school aim user,
I used Icq, Aim and yahoo chat to occupy my time from
about 2002 up until 2010 or so, then kind of dropped Icq.
I was on yahoo and Aim until they closed the yahoo rooms.
i believe that was around 2016/2017, then i dropped yahoo.
aim seemed to be on its way out then too. a few people
here and there but not like it used to be.

I left aim around that time, checked out assorted clients
like Beyluxe, skype, inspeak & settling for paltalk.

Ive had paltalk for almost 2 years now.
(1 year as free and 1 year with a plus account)

with that said, i started looking for other alternatives.
I started trying other chat clients, and services.
then one day doing a google search, i seen Phoenix.
(just saw the link to here, didnt see any videos)
Then I thought whats this, so i decided to check it out.
and here i am, (sorry for the long story)
But Whats your story ?

I was watching a video about AIM, when someone posted a link to this website. This was about a year ago or so.

I found this website probably 2 or 1 year ago, I saw it and thought it was pretty cool however I couldn't seem to find where to download I believe this might of been before the actual client. A year past and I just recently installed Pidgin however it still wouldn't fulfill my nostalgia so I searched for American online revived one last time and found a news article about it. And now with 24 friends and pending and even trying to help the community as much as I can I really wished I could of seen the day the client was released.
