I didnt use AOL at all, but to be honest i dont know what there is/was to do with AOL anymore as it is, either than experiencing the nostalgia of it, but what really can be done if AOL was rebooted? ' | Well since you never used American online you most likely joined in the early 00's like me, but let me assure you through 95' to 03' American online was not just a instant messenger but rather a place for business, news and just a way to connect to online in general and was smart very easy. It had channels for all ages and knowledge that people would never even thought of doing before, American online also made the world's top and best browser known as "netscape" But as the years went by around 2004 the internet was getting more and more popular and it was much easier to get online and the world didn't depend on AOL to connect to the internet anymore but instead for messaging purposes.' |
I started using AIM in 1998, back in the hey dey of it and the same as the days of AOL. I never was a fan of joining even with the 10,000 CD's and disks of the many many free hours i got as promo.
Dont know how much longer i'll be around. If you wanna talk.. will be @Gopher184
