Yahoo Server is up?

Is the Yahoo Server up and is it fully Transparent to AIM users? Can AIM and Yahoo users clearly see each other?

Yahoo server tends to go down for periods of time, but otherwise it still shows signs of life and is usable (albeit buggy). As for it being able to talk with the AIM server, nah.

yim2 is a different server than phoenix, and yim2 was pretty much a side project that is dead since 2018-ish.

You say that like it's a requirement. While I'm not a big fan of Phoenix and Y!2 in particular, I still think Wildman should have the freedom to manage his project however he likes unless it causes actual issues with users.

More like it's hard to do anything with the lack of protocol documentation for YMSG12, and the protocol spec changes wildly between versions. OSCAR didn't change much and is well documented.
