how do people use old icq

i heard people talking about old icq and i thought you couldnt use it any more. Sorry if i sound dumb by asking this

Np, so what I heard is that the official icq is up, however they recently dropped support for all the classic old clients, I do believe there is a certain version which may be considered "classic" but is really just modern, I can't say what the year of the client was but let me assure you it is most definitely not the one you want but as far as revivals go I'd say it is rather likely for one to come up, I even heard of a few but they never made it for some reason perhaps due to ownership reasons
