It's telling me my password is incorrect despite it being the exact same password I just logged in with to post this, not sure what's up with that if it's just out of sync with the forum database or something? I did change my password recently.

Usually the server will either go down completely or choke when attempting to send responses for whatever reason. Be it Wildman's ISP (he hosts Phoenix on a home server right now) or some weird crash in the server software. Wildman has promised that this'll be fixed once his ISP gets his act together, but who knows when that day will come.

Is there a reason it's not running on a VPS? DigitalOcean is just absolutely dirt cheap and has far better uptime than comcrap

On the AIM Discord, Wildman said his ISP is "The Great Frontier Communications", which I assume is just Frontier Communications. it appears they've been in some hot water for having slower internet speeds than advertised for some time: https://www.fiercetelecom.com/telecom/frontier-to-pay-150m-to-west-virginia-to-settle-lawsuit-over-broadband-speed. That appears to be affecting this as well.

And no I have no idea why Wildman won't just use a VPS. *raised eyebrow*. IIRC though two years ago he told me it was because uptimes of hosting providers were inferior or something. If that's the case then that's pretty ironic considering on a cable connection Phoenix is VERY unstable.
