So everything works now except for file sharing. It just says this " Connection problem with screenname; the file will not be sent. (Your 'Internet Connection Firewall' may be on. If you and your buddy are each behind a different firewall, then the connection will not work.)."

i have only been able to get that to work with AIM clients 5.1 and older, and some port forwarding is no doubt needed (see the FAQ)
