Is it possible to connect through Mac?

Hello forum :P

my friend is trying to connect to the aim server through her Mac and is finding that she can't. So my question is that if its possible to connect through Mac how does one do it? any assistance at all would be appreciated

Use pidgin for mac to connect to aim https://www.pidgin.im/download/mac/ just follow the steps in the main page to connect

I have gotten the AIM client to work in linux and wine, surprising given how janky the form control front end code is for the windows version.. too bad you're not using OS9 or older, there was a native client for that..

apparently some older versions of iChat are able to connect.
