Multiple usernames?

Hi,

One of my most favorite things about old AIM - which I REALLY missed with the most recent iterations and kept me using 5.9 for years until it totally died - was the ability to have multiple usernames logged in at once. I believe the way to set that up was on AIM's online system which is obviously non-existent.

Do you have any plans to duplicate that feature in some way? That would be MOST awesome for myself and several other friends who have long (over a decade now) used AIM for role-play-type story writing... and haven't found anything else that quite replaces it. (Skype through Pidgin kind of manages, because Pidgin allows the multiple names obviously, but sometimes posts don't go through on Skype, it can be a little wonky.)

Thanks!

It's not that difficult to do protocol-wise, though I can't speak to iWarg's plans to implement, obviously, but the biggest problem you're going to run into is that in the early, utterly stupid and pain in the butt effort to try to make things web-based, the URLs are hard coded into the client for the multi-login control and unless you change those or control the domain(s), it won't ever work. You can probably change the URLs in a hex editor or whatever and release custom ones, though the URL will have to be the same length as the original.
