Trouble with Windows 10

I've installed AIM 5.9 on windows 10 but when i try to open it, nothing happens, but checking task manager appears AOL instant messenger. What can i do?

hmm I had similar behavior trying to run 5.9 on a windows 7 machine, I really don't know the cause yet.. strange enough it works properly on a different windows 7 machine..

I had the same problem too on Windows 10. Apparently, uninstalling and reinstalling it made it suddenly work.

i'm having the same issue. and whenever i try to uninstall it the uninstaller stops responding. ironic..
