AIM Service can't be reached

Mrgn
When I try to log in, it spits out "The AIM (R) service can't be reached." However, there is a setting to change connection settings. How do i fix this?
Edit: i am using AIM 5.0
Edit2: Sorry. i forgot to look at the main page lol. No action is needed
