Will you do this for AOL (not AIM) at some point?

I like AIM, but I never used AOL my whole life. Will you bring back AOL at some point? I'm trying to use 7.0. It has IM.

Yes, that's in future plans, but it's a much larger, complex task

What version of AOL will be worked on first, when the tasks are done?

I can't say yet, it's a long way out, but probably the first to easily support TCP/IP, AOL 4.0 or maybe earlier for testing purposes with pseudo modems. It really depends on a whole lot of factors.

If you're talking about the buddy list and IM windows within the AOL client program, they may look the same, but they are literally nothing at all alike.

The real AIM was created is because of the complexity of AOL's IM and buddy windows and to even use it, one had to connect to AOL and AOL some employees didn't want to have to do that.

As far as buddy lists and IMs on AOL go, it does require a whole lot more to work.

Is the server ready for AOL yet?
