Trying to connect my AIM account to Pidgin through the AIM Protocol and through the right server (iwarg.ddns.net | port 5190) but it says it's not able to connect. how do i fix this issue?

Check to make sure they are not simply offline. Pidgin hides offline contacts by default.

by default pidgin tries to use SSL and clientlogin, are those disabled?
