How do I connect this to iChat from 10.7.5?

Hello,

I'd like to know, is there any way to connect AIM Phoenix to iChat from macOS Lion? I've seen that others can run it on versions from 10.5.7, and 10.6.8. Do I need to connect it to a different server, since AIM shut it servers down in 2017?

Yes, you have to set the server host to iwarg.ddns.net if that version of iChat allows that. Sometimes I don't get why that isn't common sense.

Hi, All!

So, I connected to that server, and I got a different error this time, it has a small warning sign next to my username, and the status, that now always says "Disconnected".
Somtimes, it also says "iChat can't communicate with with the account "AIM" An unidentified AIM socket error has occurred"

Again, anything helps,

the version of iChat that actually supported OSCAR was for powerpc OSX exclusively i think
