AIM on Mac OS 9.0

I'm having trouble getting AIM to connect on Mac OS 9.0. It stays on connecting for a while then gives me error code -3162. I'm using AIM 4.1.1068

But even then you have a small chance of it functioning or not. Any time I tried to get it working it would just crash SheepShaver all together after connecting.
