I was wondering the same thing too! So I found a solution for myself!rnrnI had the original install files for Yahoo Messenger Japan on a cd that I copied on to my computer from 2005 or 2006.Back then flip phones also had a iapp (docomo apps) version of yahoo messenger.rn The patch would not work on it so here is what i figured out!rnrnIn Regedit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER then Yahoo! then ypager. Change the CONN SERVER to iwarg.ddns.net and the HTTP SERVER to http://iwarg.ddns.net/ymsg if it still wont connect after that you may need to delete the proxy server registry as it sometimes is automatically entered there and also the HOST NAME to iwarg.ddns.netrnrnHope this helps! rnrnThis also worked for earlier versions of the Yahoo Japan messengers and I also tested it for German language too.
