Direct Connection

Direct connection should be working properly now, at least with clients 5.1 and older, providing the person making the direct request forwards ports 4443 and 4847, unsure about AIM Lite.

can you show us step by step instructions?

the method for forwarding the proper ports is different between network routing hardware, but generally involves starting by logging into the primary internet routing device http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.254.254 or something similar depending on {things}

Most netgear, linksys today are all 192.168.1.1
