@tonyshowoff I have an AOL Desktop beta from this year that includes Winamp.

That doesn't change the fact they are owned by:

I know that AOL doesn't own them, I just was saying that it had Winamp.

Well, Winamp is still the best for the size. Compared to iTunes it's practically magic, iTunes is a stack of turds that uses all your RAM and deletes music because of DRM.

winamp is a mess sometimes especially if your music collection is organized like mine.

If you take all of Winamp's faults, multiply them by 10, it's still better than pretty much every other media player for Windows. It's light weight, fast, and works OK. Some problems, sure, but the others are garbage.

If you're on Unix or Linux you can use XMMS(2). It's practically a clone. I use both Winamp and XMMS(2).

What OS are you using? I have Windows 7.

Depends on the machine I'm using:

+ Windows Server 2012 R2
+ Solaris (technically OpenIndiana but that name is so fucking stupid I refuse to use it. It's Solaris, possibly OpenSolaris, but not such a stupid name as OpenIndiana.) this OS I've been using consistently since 1996

My laptop which I haven't used much lately:
+ FreeBSD 11.2 a fan since I first used it in 2000
