america online revival?

hi there, does anyone know revival of America Online (not aolemu)? Maybe working host for it?

Sure when they make a host for it or they can make a america online phoenix sever maybe 4.0 and 5.0 6.0 7.0 can have a host server for it

They need to make a host called america online phonix so we could connect back and see the welcome screen again if it still works

Great minds think alike my friend, I am afraid a forum like this has already been made, by me as a matter of fact and iwarg said that it is very possible for him to make such a program like aolemu, and I can assure you that I too feel the pain of not being able to run American online on my computer which had it since I could ever remember. I was thinking about making such a program for iwarg but I'd first like to talk to the man himself

Yes minemaster I should tell ya using one of the america online versions from aol could be possable if so aol 4.0 the one that was made by aol could be created with a new host and other versions It could be solved to just run the setup file if you want the file go to oldversions and download this one from old versions http://www.oldversion.com/windows/america-online-4-0

It runs the setup if it asks you to have permission just press details and press run anyway then the set up should work but only a new server could be a thing with this too or host

I could do this, however I would need some help. And I am afraid I already have American online installed, as a matter of fact not only do I have versions on previously bought Windows 98 machines, but I also have American online installed on my childhood Windows xp the version says that it's still from 2002, I would be more than happier to host... perhaps even for iwarg? If you could give me some instructions and we could talk privately about how we can do so perhaps we really could revive American online. Oh yes there is one more thing to mention a friend of mine recently tested aolemu on his Vista and it worked, so let me correct myself and say that everything below Windows xp doesn't work

Alright so first things first go to old versions oldversions.com and find American online chose one you want it was American online 4.0 then click on it and click on download and then run the installer oh first unzip it it will ask you to un zip the file and then find the file and install American online setup and then chose current user or new user whatever and then on the setup hit install and then aol online will start up and then try to talk about it that's it
