Can't connect - Mac 7.5.3

Okay, I fixed the formatting so that it will accept the text file (There was an extra space in each line), but now when trying to connect, I still get the same "Could not connect to the AOL Instant Messenger (SM) service. [-3162]" error after it times out trying to connect. I've tried using both 3.0 and 4.1 in OS 9.2.2.
Just a girl bumbling into the new millenium. Wherever it takes me, I'll figure it out.

How did you all find/make the host files? I'm having same problem.
Talk to me if you can get AIM to work on Mac OS 8.1 or any other classic systems.
